Cookie Policy
Which technologies we use and how you control your choices.
Effective date: [DATE] · Version 1.0
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and external requests that may allow a third-party provider to receive technical information.
2. Categories
- Necessary: required for sign-in, security, language and saving your choices. They cannot be disabled through the banner.
- Functional: enable optional external content such as interactive maps.
- Analytics: used for usage measurement only after consent. No analytics tool is currently active.
- Marketing: used for advertising or campaign measurement only after consent. No marketing tracker is currently active.
3. Cookie and technology list
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ezyflat_session | EzyFlat | Maintains a secure signed-in session and identifies the authenticated account. | Necessary | Up to 60 days from session creation or earlier on expiry/logout. |
| ezyflat_lang | EzyFlat | Stores the user’s language choice and routes them to the correct English or Greek pages. | Necessary | 1 year |
| ezyflat_cookie_consent (localStorage) | EzyFlat | Stores category choices and prevents the banner from appearing on every visit. | Necessary | 6 months |
| Cloudflare Turnstile storage/cookies (where set) | Cloudflare | Protects signup forms against bots, automated abuse and spam. | Necessary / Security | Set by Cloudflare only while a challenge is being solved; not used to identify you. |
| Google Identity Services cookies/storage (where set) | Provides the optional Google sign-in and signup function. | Functional | Set by Google only when you use Google sign-in (for example `g_state`); durations are set by Google. | |
| External map-tile request (not an EzyFlat cookie) | OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org), or the map style provider configured for this site | Loads interactive maps only after Functional consent. The provider receives technical data such as IP address and browser headers. | Functional | No EzyFlat cookie is stored; provider logs follow the provider’s own policy. |
4. Choices and withdrawal
Optional categories are disabled by default. The banner’s first layer provides equally prominent acceptance and rejection choices. You may choose by category and change or withdraw your choice at any time through “Cookie Settings” in the footer.
Withdrawal stops future loading by EzyFlat. Cookies already created on a third party’s domain may need to be deleted through your browser or the third party’s own settings.
5. Changes
We will update this table before enabling any new analytics, advertising, payment, KYC or other tool that uses cookies or trackers. [ASSIGN AN OWNER FOR THE COOKIE/VENDOR AUDIT BEFORE EACH RELEASE].
